Hi all,
This weekend the 3 of the standard shooters from STI Euroteam/Team Hornady
had shown up to participate in the German Nationals in Standard and Production.
The match was very well attended with more than 200 competitors in Standard and Production.
Even Todd Jarrett had come all the way from the US to give a class (and
kick some butt).
STANDARD DIVISION
Standard division was tough: Very good shooters indeed, but as it would
turn out 4 shooters were giving each other a race for the money. Everybody
expected Todd Jarrett to win by a landslide, but that didn't happen. Winner
was german topshooter Oliver Damm followed by STI Euroteam member Gregory
Midgley who shot a fantastic match (and missed 1st. place by only 9 match
points!). Todd placed 3rd followed by Ralf K. Jensen

1. 100% Oliver Damm (Germany)
2. 99,1% Gregory Midgley (Germany) STI EUROTEAM MEMBER
3. 98,9% Todd Jarrett (USA)
4. 97.8% Ralf K. Jensen (Denmark) STI EUROTEAM MEMBER
5. 90% Michael Schütz (Germany)
PRODUCTION DIVISION
Todd Jarrett took revenge on this one by winning with a margin of 7% to no.
2!!! Guess he had something to prove and he proved it all right.
The new STI GP6 which was used for production is so new, that the STI
Euroteam didn't have time to get familiarized with the new STI
"wondernine" - the GP6.
Greg and Herbert had shot only 2-300 rounds through the gun and Ralf haven't
even received the gun yet and had to borrow Herberts gun and rig.
Greg was once again our best shot, and he finished 7th. place.
The GP6 is a good gun, and with a bit of training with the GP6 I'm sure the
STI Euroteam will be kicking butt in production division across Europe soon
:-)
